patterns :)

        

these are my patterns, which can be found everywhere , lol  and ima label these from the top to the bottomleft to right
translation, medium rectangular pattern , outside belvin on tuesday.
translatiin/rotation, fur and dot like texture, riley ( my gf's dog ) thursday
translation/reflection, plaid pattern, bed comforter on thursday
translation/reflection, wood texture, desk in my dorm room on friday morning
translation, heart rythem, the bottom of my slippers friday morning
translation, pokadot pattern, my silky pajama pants thursday night
hm... im not sure if the tree counts but if it does -- translation/reflection, branch rythem,  tree outside belvin tuesday
trnslation, long rectagular pattern, the blinds in my dorm  friday morning
translation, reflaction, rotatino, striped pattern, my tiger shirt that goes with my pokadot pajama pants lol, thursday night

cardboard replica--crab claw --FINISHED!!

    dun dun duh daahh--- vuala it es finished. : D
and the claw moves xp  ( the top part can open and close : ) )  in order to do that i folded long stripes of cardboard back and forth lik an acordian and gluded it under neath the claw , giving it a spring action kinda thing . that was the most difficult part of this project to me. constuction the arm with the  spikes was one of the easyer parts.  once the claw was movale i added one of the final touches - the teeth of the claw. that was was the easyest part now that i think of it lol but yea .  over all this was a challenging procces and i think my building a mini replica helped me a lot

this was my favorite of my 2 dot  compositions. i though we had to re interprit the original dot picture and take a photo of it.. but i later found out ( after it was too lte ) that we just had to reinterprit it .. not reinact it. oh well . :)  the first thing i saw with my dot composition was 2 fish swimming around eachother.. but since we had to be in the picture and take the picture .. and i didnt have any fish i could use lol , so instead i did the composition above with me and my girlfriend :)  the bigger dots where supposed to represent out heads but now that i look at it more our bodies would be the bigger dots and our elbow and hands would be the smaller ones.
